Denver's New Industry Grows

Colorado is the first state to legalize the sale of recreational marijuana.

There are 18 stores in Denver that can sell it.

Legal weed is taxed 25% by the state.

The tax is estimated to increase revenue by $70 million dollars in 1 year!

It is claimed that $27.5 million of those tax dollars will be used to construct schools.

Anyone over the age of 21 can purchase up to 1/4oz of marijuana.

A Colorado resident can purchase up to 1oz.

Fashion Show

Rags Consignments in Boulder provided the fashion for this charity show. Proceeds went to The Grow Foundation which educates youths about nutrition by teaching them how to grow their own food.
